Transport
Our exhibition offers you:
Apart from good transport connections provided by the Elbe river and a well developed road network, railway engineering played a very important role in the industrialization process of Magdeburg. By the end of the last century, developments in precision engineering were achieved and thus made it possible to produce bicycles and engines, followed by the first motorized aircraft and streetcars. When engines became smaller and more powerful, cars and motorcycles were manufactured as well.
